"I'm so fed up with this office. I needed to replace my windshield and Dave said to pay out of pocket, take a picture of the receipt and email it to him and he would mail Mr a check. I got a text from an employee of his named Leo Acosta saying the check is in the mail expect 5-10 business days. I'm located in West Haven. It's been a week still no check. I tried calling but no one answered. They called while I was working, they texted me making sure my address is correct. Asked them when the check was sent out, told me they sent it out the the day before. So first your telling me the check is in the mail on a Thursday, a week later you tell me you just sent out the check? I'm begging to think I'm not getting a check and Dave or Leo lied to me. Dave also likes to pressure you into getting life insurance, even though I have life insurance at work. He won't take no for an answer no matter what you say. I tried switching agents but that didn't happen because the agent I spoke to called Dave to let him know one of your clients is reaching out to me. I might as well go elsewhere for insurance. This is ridiculous!"

"I am giving 1star because I can’t give a 0. My husband made a estimate with a shop that works with State Farm, but the deductible was not worth to use the insurance. Therefore, we just paid and did the job out of our pocket, but this shop submitted payment for a work in both of our cars(work we have never done or request to them OR STATE FARM. We never signed ANYTHING!). Since March of 2023 this is going on and we are trying to contact Davis Ellis to solve this issue and he just give us excuses and don’t do anything about. His last action is just not to answer our calls. His office may be nice when they are looking for clients and when their clients don’t have any issues to solve. Otherwise, THEY ARE TERRIBLE! Just don’t use their service and add headaches to your life. UPDATE: Thank you, Davis for taking 1.4y to tell me that this is responsibility of claims department. After all those calls telling me you are under staff, or that you are going to check what was happening, and all the other excuses... I actually expected this answer of yours. I will make sure to tell everyone in Utah not to use this office or State Farm services. Still, I love knowing that you guys record all of your calls. I definitely want to see State Farm proving why they paid a shop for a service we never requested, signed, received, and closed TWO claims under our names."

"I looked into your assumption and found The fact of the matter is that State Farm claims paid both your claims. You only paid a small deductible, State Farm paid the rest for your two windshields. Both State Farm Claims and the windshield replacement shop have documentation to prove this. They also have proof that your household did these claims. Your comments should be directed to State Farm Claims and the windshield replacement shop. We are an independent office. "

"You never know the value of your policy until you have an emergency. Dave Ellis and his team at State Farm has been, by far, the easiest, most thorough coverage I have ever received. I am truly pleased by their customer service and would highly recommend them."

"My mother's insurance got dropped, and I live in Wyoming. I sent her into Dave, and he set her up staff very friendly and kind. DAVE cares saved her 700.00 dollars per year on car insurance, and homeowners insurance expenses are hard on her being on a fixed income. Called me on the phone when she got to his office.she was late and couldn't find his office he calmed her down and made her feel safe to do this. Mom is 82 years old. She doesn't trust people, but she is very happy with the results. From the bottom of my heart ❤️ Thank Dave for treating her like family if your looking to switch insurance, please give Dave and his team a call. ❤️ 💙 💜 💖 💗 💘 ❤️"

"I called Dave in a moment of great need; my father has recently passed, and our family needed help taking over our parents’ affairs. Dave stayed very late on a Friday night, talking me through everything on the phone. I live out of state, and he went out of his way to make sure we have everything we need to keep their home and property safe. He is extremely personable and knowledgeable and I feel that his priority is helping people."

"Dave Ellis customer service is horrible. He will say the right things but does not follow through. He and his.team have made several mistakes on my policy that have cost me and my family members. To include not putting the right Vin number on policy's and miss assigning drivers to vechiles. He and his team say the right things but all he cares about in the end is selling life insurance policies and adding on to your insurance cost. State farm is a great company but avoid Dave Ellis and his team or will be paying way more than you should in money and time wasted fixing his mistakes."

"Shawn, thank you for your feedback. After many attempts for quite some time, thank you for getting back to us. We always deliver our customer service in a professional, friendly way, which was the opposite my, fully licensed seasoned, team received from you. We waited a long time to receive all the drivers information requested so we could add and assign drivers. Sometimes the DMV issues incorrect VIN numbers and we requested a picture on the VIN from your car so it could be updated. The only thing we sell are appointments. We review insurance coverage so there are no surprises come claim time. There is no right or wrong answer, the question is, how much do you want your insurance to cover? We care about educating and asking our families if they are properly covered with life insurance. Last November a 48 year old Dad of ours suddenly passed away leaving his wife and two teenagers Fatherless. He was wise and had a life policy he owned in place with us. His wife said his small life policy at work would not pay out for 8 months. Now, his family will have enough to pay the bills until the kids are done with college. I don't think this Mom is ever going to be mad, that for the price of a pizza, they will have enough money. We have found that those who love their stuff, insure their things. Those who love their families, insure themselves."
